Not Giving Value to your Readers:
This is one of the biggest and the Worst mistake Newbie bloggers do in their blogging journey. Readers are the important part of your blog, and your blog’s growth depends on How you are treating your readers. All the Pro Bloggers always point out the importance of Readership in a blog’s growth. But I have found that mostly the New bloggers are ignoring their readers and just trying to grow the number of posts on their blog.
Believe Me, It never helps you being a good blogger. Always try to make a connection with your readers. This thing can supercharge your blog’s growth in a real manner. There are some tips about how to give value to your readers on your blog?
1. Treat them like your friends!
2. Reply to the Comments!
3. Help your Blog readers, if they ask you a question in comments.
4. Let them Connect with you on Social Media, by putting Social media links on your blog.
5. Give free giveaways. Like free tips, e-books or another kind of stuff
Publishing Low Quality or Irrelevant Content:
Another big mistake maybe you are doing with your blog is publishing low-quality content on your blog. Always publish content, which helps your reader. Remember one thing, Quantity doesn’t mean, If you lose out the Quality. So always try your best to serve your reader with the most helpful content you can. Try to make your blog an authority blog, The Content on your blog must worth reading. If it’s not, then a reader will never want to visit your blog again.

Another thing, Always publish content which is related to your blog’s niche. Accepting Guest posts of irrelevant niche is also a big mistake, which can ruin your blog’s readership. Always double check the guest posts you receive in order to make sure that this content must worth reading. If you are taking your blog’s image down just for some pennies, believe me, you are making the worst Deal.
Even If you are publishing paid reviews on your blog, Only review those products which are related to your blog’s niche. This will help you winning the readers trust and you can build a strong readership by doing this.
Ignoring the Social Media’s Importance:
Social Networking site’s plays an Important role in your blog’s growth. Never neglect their importance, if you want to be a successful blogger. Begging for Subscribers and Shares:
It is recommended for most of the Pro Bloggers to end your post with some call to action Like share this post, Leave a comment or anything else. But there is a bit difference between begging and a call-to-action. There is a huge difference in “Please Subscribe to my newsletter” or “Please, Please, Please Subscribe to my newsletter”.
Don’t Loosen your Image in front of your readers. Let them feel that they are reading blog posts from a Practical person. Ask them to Share your blog posts but don’t force them to do this. This will ruin all your Digital Image and your users don’t even Listen what you are trying to say them. Don’t be yourself but don’t even run out your presence and Why you do this? You are giving useful content to them for free. Make you content in a manner it worth sharing, and your blog must have content which worth subscribing your newsletter.
Always Looking on Blog’s Traffic Stats:
Last but not the Least. Never keep an eye on your blog’s traffic stats in the starting months. It takes some time for things to be happen. Publishing a post and going to check for Traffic? Does it make some sense? No! Because when you end up with a little traffic or even zero traffic, it will disappoint you and Mostly Bloggers think to quit blogging after this. So Always work hard and give time to your blog to let it grow.
Well said by Dale Carnegie that “Knowledge is not Power Until it is applied”. So your Skills are useless if you don’t implement them in a right manner.
Always focus on Writing awesome content, Making connections with your fellow bloggers and your readers and try to make your blog a better place for reader rather than just sitting and looking for a huge traffic. Do Hard-work for a huge traffic You will get a great traffic when your Work deserves a great traffic. I recommend you to just build your blog for the first 5-6 months of blogging, not think about traffic and money.
