IT giant Tech Mahindra Ltd recently announced the incorporation of a cutting-edge solution utilizing Blockchain Technology steering to mitigate spam solicitations for the telecom sector in India. At present, according to experts, more than 300 million mobile subscribers are being impacted by spam calls in the country.
According to a press release statement from the company, Tech Mahindra started designing the Blockchain solution since 2018, aggregating more than 25 per cent of the Indian market share, in acquiescence with the regulations and guidelines of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in order to facilitate Telecom providers block unauthorized access of their subscribers’ information.
Global Practice Leader of Blockchain of Tech Mahindra, Rajesh Dhuddu stated, that the new-age technology is a center for corporate and government equivalent, and is presumed to be a trillion-dollar market by 2030. With the collective and coordinated attempts by the Indian government and the industry supported by appropriate regulation, India can advance to sustain and improve its leadership status in Blockchain technology.
