Home to the biggest trade fairs, the City of Cannes and the Alpes-Maritimes Department Council, supported by the EuropIA Institute and Corp Agency (organizer of Big Data Paris & AI Paris, Quantum Business Europe, Voice Tech Paris … ), announced the holding at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès of a new international event: the World AI Cannes Festival (WAICF), the world festival of artificial intelligence. From February 10 to 12, 2022, Cannes will become the capital of AI to present major innovations, to offer a place for experimentation and to raise public awareness of the economic, human, ethical and societal challenges of a rapidly changing sector.
Thus, Thursday September 16, 2021 at 11 a.m., Charles Ange Ginésy, President of the Department of the Alpes-Maritimes, and David Lisnard, Mayor of Cannes, will unveil the program of this first edition which will offer a total immersion into the economy, the culture and the universe of this technology used on a daily basis in our societies and in our lives.
This new event of international scope strengthens the positioning of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes, an essential structure for the prosperity of Cannes and the Riviera, as a leading French center, outside of Paris, for the organization of trade fairs. In the company of the recognized expertise of the Corp group on the theme of Artificial Intelligence and the date, this event is aimed for the first time at experts, companies and the general public through a special tailored program.
